Author Anita Cross

Anita has a degree in Applied Science and has worked as a home economist and nutritionist for Queensland’s Fruit & Vegetable Grower’s organisation Growcom (formerly COD). She presented a weekly television cooking program ‘Fresh Approach’ from 1987 until 1991, as well as appearing regularly on Brisbane morning TV programs and children’s shows including Channel 7’s ‘Wombat’. She also presented weekly radio segments on various stations throughout Queensland and wrote a weekly ‘What’s Fresh’ column for the Courier Mail. Anita was the contributing Food Editor for Sunshine Baby magazine from 1989 to 1991, a role which involved recipe development, writing articles and styling food for photography. Anita has worked in advertising for the past 15 years, predominately on food accounts.
