For forty years Ben has been a son, and for eight years he has been a father which, if you think about it, is nearly 50 years of experience with families!
Ben has been fascinated with writing, books and illustration from primary school. After achieving a certificate in illustration through a school of journalism, he preferred to dabble in creative and journalistic writing pursuits that included commercial song writing, street magazine journalism and contributions to special interest publications.
Now his experience in families and approach to writing come together for the first time in a book about what it was like to be a first-time parent of a primary school student in 'Our Little Monster'.
