Author Diane Schaffer

Diane is a South African–born lawyer, business founder, gardening guru and mother of three adult children. Her rural upbringing on a farm gave her
a passion for the outdoors, wildlife, nature and reading. A wish to create imaginative and playful learning for kids led her and her husband, Jonathan,
to found an activity toy company together in the UK where they were based at the time. This same passion is what she aims to bring to children in her visually beautiful and engaging book.
