Author Geri Bobbin

Inspired by her daughter Jarrah’s first encounter with Lizzie, the inquisitive goanna who was secretly watching her as she swam in the pool, Geri has penned this delightfully illustrated children’s book to introduce some of the amazing wildlife that are an everyday part of a North Queensland garden.

Geri left the hustle and bustle of Sydney living for the laid back lifestyle of tropical north Australia 26 years ago. After a year in Darwin she moved to Townsville where she lives in a quirky Queenslander with a big back yard and is still charmed by its wildlife and beauty everyday.
