Author Jenny Canty
Jenny is based in Melbourne, Australia and has been lucky to teach in primary schools both in Australia and overseas, specialising in early literacy and school librarianship. In 2017, she was awarded second place in the Churchill & District News Open Adult Short Story competition for her story Powder Blue. She has also had journals published by: The Australian Review, Scholastic, Australian School Library Association and more. She lives on small property on the outskirts of suburbia, with some bush, a nearby creek, chooks and a writing studio (built by her partner Patrick). They have two children and five grandchildren and recently, two puppies.
