Author Krystina Gibson

Krystina Gibson has been in the creative industry for over 20 years and has always had a passion for storytelling. When the opportunity to help her son with his delayed speech came up, her attention turned towards children’s books and reading to him. Using her extremely loud cat (who missed a Guinness World Record by a whisker) as inspiration, Kitty Pom was born. Krystina has drawn inspiration from speech therapists and early childhood educators when writing her books. She is super passionate about rhyme and alliteration, which is an important step in phonological awareness. She hopes that Kitty Pom can help other kids in their speech journey.
