Author Pat Dryland

Pat Dryland lived her early years in the eastern suburbs of Sydney before moving to Engadine after marrying her husband, Geoff. Pat has always worked with children in many capacities. She was a swimming teacher in her teenage years before studying to be a high school teacher. Pat taught at various high schools in southern Sydney and the Illawarra. Pat was also the owner and manager of three preschools for approximately 30 years. Pat’s hope is for all children to have access to quality education. Writing has been a hobby for many years and, now retired, there is a little more time to develop her hobby into something more. Pat has two adult children and 5 grandchildren who are all a huge part of her life. Her favourite past times are travel, reading, spending time with the grandchildren and, of course, writing.
