Author Rune Woodman
After a long career in software development, pretending he wasn't a writer, Rune Woodman decided it was time to stop hiding and write his first novel. He had expected that he might write for adults - an exciting political thriller, a murder mystery or something scandalous - but instead a boy, small for his age and running from bullies, insisted on invading his thoughts. Rune tried various methods to be rid of the boy but he always returned, running and running away from those bullies. The boy's name is Albert and his story is told in Rune's first novel, The Ordinary Animals. Rune no longer dreams of writing for adults - he is firmly focused on completing The Ordinary Animals trilogy then writing the dozen or so other children's stories that have popped into his head over the years.
