Author Sally Jo Webster
Sally is a grazier who grew up on a cattle station in Northwest Queensland, where she still lives and works today. She loves nothing more than sharing her life with her husband and children in the bush. She is your typical “jack of all trades” acting as mum, cook, ringer, gardener, bookkeeper and wife (to name a few). ‘Beryl the Brahman’ is her first children’s book based on the survival story of the orphaned calf Sally and her family saved ¬– Beryl. To Sally, it is an ode to all the poddy calves who came into people’s lives and changed them in more ways than anyone could ever imagine.
