Illustrator Scott Irvine
Put simply, I make stuff look good for a living, and i love it.
I've worn many hats in my career, graphic designer, web designer, artist, animator and illustrator. I've been lucky enough to have done all sorts of work over my decade or so in the creative industry, ranging from designing metal keychains and badges, illustrating e-learning software, being an in-house branding specialist, illustrating a childrens book and for the last year i have also been the senior designer for WildTomato and FishHead magazines.
I've learnt a lot in my career so far, enough that in 2011 i felt i was ready to start my own design firm, and in March of that year INKI Creative was formed. Several years later, with a location change from Nelson to Wellington, and with a name change to Irvine & Co - Design and Illustration, we are still going strong, growing and learning every day how to be better designers, illustrator, photographers and business people.
At its core i enjoy using my skill set to help people to get their ideas out there, maybe its my entrepreneurial side, but being a part of the process in bringing other peoples ideas to life is just as exciting to me as if it were my own, and i treat it just as importantly.
